Picnic

Micah had a birthday last week!

This handsome little guy is now 7 years old.

Although his birthday fell on a "daddy day", we made plans to meet up for a picnic lunch at a nearby park. I think it's important to note how fortunate I am to have this type of graceful and accomodating relationship with Micah's dad and step-mom. We have all worked very hard over the years to maintain such high standards and it isn't quite as common as one would think.

I have to admit that it was still hard to say goodbye once the picnic was over, but we got to celebrate again the next day.
