Einstein's little brother....

A couple of years ago, Finn went as Einstein for Halloween.

A rather serious shade of Einstein might I add.

He came up with the idea all on his own and I have to admit I was ecstatic. I had chosen to make all the costumes by hand that year and it ended up being a tremendous undertaking, one that I had sorely underestimated. Suffice it to say that the sewing machine was still hard at work right up until GO time, and even then some hidden seams were still safety pinned instead of stitched.

So when Finn announced his costume idea I immediately made a bee line for Value Village and picked up his suit jacket and tie for a measly $3. Add in a bottle of white hair spray, and his costume was the cheapest and easiest of the bunch, and quite frankly the biggest hit of the night!

Tonight during bath time, Oscar proved that he was indeed Einstein's little brother......
