I am going to let the pictures speak for themselves.
What a glorious day!
I picked the kids up from school (they usually yellow bus it home) and we decided to take a good old fashioned walk around the park.
Which of course lead us to the band shell, the notorious scene of Micah's big bike crash a few years ago (you know the one that resulted in a trip to the ER and about 20 stitches?), but today we simply enjoyed taking center stage, no ambulance necessary.
I even got Maija to pose for a close up!
As you can see the sun was blazing down, brighter than ever
And the wind was as blustery as could be.....
But no one seemed to mind, except maybe Oscar who was fed up with being trapped in the buggy.
As soon as we got back home I let the babies loose and they LOVED it....
This was their first time walking around the neighborhood and there was no slowing them down.
Oh the crying that ensued once they realized we were headed back home! We made it 4 houses down and back, not too bad for a first walk! Thankfully Ruari was along to help with the corralling, otherwise I would have been in trouble.
