Just wait until your baby girl turns 11 and starts dancing the Tango in city wide ballroom competitions. Nothing will ever prepare you, as her mother, for an event quite like this!
Our city's Mad Hot Ballroom competition was this past Saturday with over 500 couples competing in 3 dances: the Swing, the Tango and the Salsa. Maija and her partner made it all the way to the semi finals where they shared their last dance. Regardless, the entire experience was phenomenal and she has a lot to be proud of. I already told her that I would love to learn the Tango for our wedding reception next summer, hopefully she'll be able to give me some tips since I was definitely born with two left feet.
